The Artful Lodger in Newport, Rhode Island, was a delightful historic inn that catered to those seeking charm and a fantastic location without the need for excessive modern amenities. the housekeeping was impeccable, and the three different seating areas provided lovely spaces to relax and socialize, from the Front Porch overlooking Spring Street to the award-winning Garden Patio. We especially enjoyed breakfast in Pip's Cafe, with its floor-to-ceiling windows offering a stunning view of Newport Harbor. the intimate inn's desirable location allowed us to easily explore Newport's historic downtown and even visit the nearby Cliff Walk. Our host, Heidi, was warm and accommodating, ensuring our stay was comfortable and memorable. We highly recommend the Artful Lodger for a unique and cozy experience in Newport.
